We encourage feedback from our residents, their families and our staff, reflecting the care, compassion and support experienced within our service.

"Just to say how much I appreciated the hard work you and your staff put into my recovery. The nursing care and attention was superb and second to none. The work in the kitchen was excellent and enjoyed by myself and certainly by my husband. It was very good that he was able to spend so much time with me and he too enjoyed the very good food provided. The nursing care was very good and I enjoyed the time spent with the staff having many laughs about the various delights of being a patient. My room was extremely comfortable and had all that was needed for a good recovery. We both enjoyed being able to walk to the gazebo when it was warm enough. The garden is a delight - congratulations to the gardener. I have no hesitations about recommending the Coach House to others needing care. Many thanks again."

"I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to each of you for the support, kindness and teamwork I've experienced during my time here. It's been a genuine pleasure working alongside such dedicated and compassionate professionals. I've learnt so much and truly valued the sense of community and care that runs throughout this home. Though I'm moving on to a new opportunity, i'll carry many fond memories of my time here. Wishing you all continued success and fulfullment in the important work you do every day."

"Thank you so much for taking such care with my mum. You have no idea what a difference you've made, for her and for all of us. Your kindness, openness, generosity of spirit and stability in some complex circumstances were transformative. Specifically, without you we'd never have been able to go to our daughter's wedding. Neither would I have been able to say goodbye to mum properly the day before. 'Thank you' doesn't even cover it

"We just wanted to say a huge huge thank you for all the outstanding care that you extended to my mum and dad during their residence with you.

We think it is fair to say that none of us go willingly into a nursing home - losing what is left of any independence and autonomy over our own lives is never going to be an easy choice. Yet, if nursing care is what is required then we are super glad that places like the Coach House exist.

Of course, the surroundings are important, we want to have all the mod cons and be clean and comfortable, but what really matters the most is the atmosphere and the level of care that is provided. We always felt that at the Coach House the level of care is your priority. You are an amazing team with amazing leading Matrons and nurses who have a wealth of experience from which you are all benefiting. There is no such thing as 'just a carer' or 'just a housekeeper' or 'just a chef in a nursing home' because you are the absolute back bone of the process and the Coach House would not exist without you guys. It is a well-oiled machine and every job is a cog in that machine and that means teamwork. When one cog is down it affects everyone so supporting each other is paramount.

We found you all to be really professional, patient positive in your roles and always with a great big smile, putting everyone at ease and you inject fun as mach as you can. I will never forget the stuffed toy dogs being told to 'sit and stay' because all the residents loved it. Amazing.

Most importantly you all provide the dignity that we are all scared to lose as we age and you do it discretely and with care. Thank you.

We come into this world with nothing and we go out with nothing. We are delivered into this world. if we are lucky, by a midwife or similar and yet we often leave this world without a friendly voice or a caring hand to hold. Doing your job gives you the privilege of being that someone. What an honour and special position to be in, just to be there at the right time and support through this once in a lifetime experience. There are no second chances when it comes to passing away.

It really is impossible to thank you all individually for the care you have all extended to my parents. I stress again that you are all amazing and deserve the best life can give you. It is no wonder you are recognised as Key Workers and the world is a better place with you in it. As the saying goes 'In a world where you can be anything - be kind' and you are all truly kind. If only the rest of the world would catch on.

"We wanted to write to say how much we appreciated the love and care you gave to mum while she was with you. As her family we saw that you all went that extra mile, making sure all her needs were met, always with a smile and we know she was extremely grateful for all the support she received. She loved to hear all of your personal stories and really felt you became her extended family and she grew to love each and every one of you. Those last few weeks when she became so poorly, we saw outstanding care and compassion which made it so much easier for the family to know she was in safe hands when we werent with her. A few days before she died, mum made us promise that we would let you know how much you all meant to her and wanted us to say thank you on her behalf for everything you did for her. So from mum... thank you. Thank you for caring. Thank you for supporting us all during the difficult times. Thank you for being outstanding human beings. Much love."
