About Us

The Coach House is a family-run home providing high-quality residential, nursing, and short-term care in a calm and welcoming setting. Every aspect of our care is shaped around the individual—whether for long-term support, post-operative recovery, or a short respite stay.

Set within a charming period property, the home combines character and warmth with modern standards of comfort, safety, and design. Surrounded by peaceful parkland at Sharow Cross, and just minutes from Ripon, residents benefit from both tranquillity and convenient access to local amenities.

Our gardens are a much-loved part of daily life—spacious, well maintained, and easily accessible—offering a quiet place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Choosing a care home is an important decision, and we understand how much it matters to feel confident in your choice. We warmly invite you to visit, meet our team, and experience the atmosphere for yourself. You’re welcome to drop in at any time, or arrange a visit if you’d like to spend more time with our manager.

We believe good food and good company go hand in hand, and we provide a welcoming and attractive dining and garden room with views over the fishpond and surrounding gardens.

Our chefs prepare a wide range of tempting, balanced and nutritious meals every day, using fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Menus offer choice at each meal and are tailored to a variety of tastes and dietary requirements, with special diets also catered for.
