Admissions &
Fees
This page explains how to apply for admission to The Coach House Nursing Home and provides an overview of care fees. We aim to make the process as straightforward and supportive as possible, offering guidance at every stage of this important transition.
The Admissions Process
Step 1: Get in touch
Reach out to our friendly team for an initial conversation about your care needs. If you wish, we will also be happy to arrange a visit so you can tour the home, meet the team, and get a feel for life at The Coach House.
Step 2: Assessment
We will speak with you, your family, carers, your GP, and where appropriate the hospital to gain a full understanding of your health needs, care requirements, and personal lifestyle preferences.
Step 3: Offer & agreement
Once we have gathered all the necessary information and are confident that we can meet your needs, we will offer you a place within our home.
Step 4: Moving in
We will help you arrange your move into the home, including transport and any personal belongings or furniture you wish to bring. Our team will support you every step of the way as you settle into your new home with us.
Moving into the Home
We understand that moving into a care home is a significant transition. Our team is dedicated to providing warm, practical support from the moment you arrive. From personalising your room with cherished belongings to a gentle introduction to our community, we ensure every detail is handled with care and compassion to help you feel at home in those important first few days.
Fees and Funding
How Fees Work
Our fee structure is designed with full transparency. We conduct a detailed pre-admission assessment to determine the specific level of care required, which then informs the weekly fee. Payments are typically made four weekly in advance via direct debit.
What's Included
Fees cover 24-hour expert nursing or residential care, all meals and refreshments, laundry services, and a varied programme of daily activities. Residents also enjoy full access to our communal lounges, landscaped gardens, and personalised room furnishings.
Understanding financial support can be complex. We signpost families to independent financial advisors and local authority resources to explore options such as CHC funding, FNC contributions, or deferred payment agreements.
Funding Advice
Current Fees
Our care fees start from £1,250 per four week period, and are tailored to reflect each individual’s level of care needs and accommodation preferences. Full details are provided following an assessment.
